Steelhead Lacrosse Club's Academy Series offers specific positional clinics in intimate small group settings. These are designed to work on individual needs whether you are an offensive player, d-mid, or long-pole.

Sessions are limited in size to ensure a more personalized experience as we focus on skills, increasing lacrosse IQ, and gaining confidence.

​

These will be offered throughout the year in each season.

Steelhead LC 2026 Winter Sixes Lacrosse Program (Olympic Format)

 

Schedule & Format

Dates: Wednesdays, January 7 through February 18 (7 sessions)

Location: Canlan Libertyville

- Middle School (6th–8th Grade): 5:00–6:30 PM

- High School: 6:30–8:00 PM

Team Size: 12-15 Athletes per team
 

Game Blocks:

MS: 5:00-5:45 PM and 5:45-6:30 PM.

HS: 6:30-7:15 PM and 7:15-8:00 PM
 

Game Format:

- Two 18-minute halves

- 5-minute halftime

- Small-sided Sixes play with rapid transitions and high reps

- Olympic-style format = speed, creativity, and nonstop action

- Emphasizes stick skills, off-ball movement, and decision-making

- Ideal for multi-sport athletes and those preparing for spring season
